Who we are
GThink Ltd was established in 2017 to bring a more rigorous, engineering-led approach to home energy systems. electricalworks grew from that foundation into a specialist practice serving premium homes across Surrey and South West London - designing solar, battery storage and EV charging as integrated systems, rather than as separate add-ons bolted on one after another. The properties we work with most often have well-oriented roofs suited to high-yield solar arrays, private driveways ready for EV charging infrastructure, and electrical installations that were never designed for the demands of a modern, increasingly electrified household.
Our principle is precision over volume. We apply a be smart, not busy philosophy to every project - a detailed site survey before any quotation, designs that account for the roof geometry and existing supply arrangement of the actual property in front of us, and paperwork that holds up to scrutiny from a mortgage lender, network operator or a future buyer's surveyor. Every Electrical Installation Certificate, commissioning record and DNO notification we produce is written as if it will be inspected, because it should be able to withstand that scrutiny.
Premium homes across Surrey and South West London are demanding environments: multiple occupants, EV charging running alongside solar generation, home offices in continuous use, and heating systems now competing with heat pump upgrades for headroom in the consumer unit. Our mission
Premium homes across Surrey and South West London hold more energy potential than most owners realise. A well-oriented roof in Weybridge can generate meaningful electricity for twenty-five years. A private driveway in Cobham is the ideal platform for a properly specified EV charging circuit. An older property with dated wiring is often one upgrade away from supporting a battery system that stores cheap off-peak energy for the household's peak hours. The barrier is rarely technical - it is finding a team that understands the whole system, gets the electrical foundation right, and communicates clearly throughout.
That is the gap we exist to close. We design and deliver solar, battery and EV systems as one coherent piece of engineering, built on electrical infrastructure that is assessed and resolved before any hardware is specified - so the systems we hand over keep performing, and keep their value, for years after we've left site.
